Experience Points (EXP) is a mechanic that lets players level up. Some episodes require the player to be at a certain level before they can play a specific episode. They are also integral to the Guard Ranking.

There are multiple ways players can receive EXP: playing episodes, playing the Mini-Games, sending their Companion out on exploration, and experience potions.

Levels Edit

Each level has a different number of points. Once a player has reached the maximum number of points, they will advance to the next level or be stuck at their current level until a new episode is released.

How a player scores affects how many points they get. The higher the score, the more points they receive.

Exploration Edit

Baring the event maps, every location on an exploration map has a certain amount of points that a player can get. These points are not dependent on a companion finding anything. Generally, the more energy it takes for a companion to search a location, the more experience points that player will receive.

Potions Edit

In the Alchemy Shop, there are two experience potions: a small one for 50 Gold Coins that gives 250 EXP and a big one for 150 GCs that gives 1,000 EXP. While the points given are not counted towards the Guard Ranking, they can be helpful for advancing to the next level.

Playing Episodes Edit

Each episode has a set number of EXP that the player can obtain by playing and replaying the episode. The number of EXP increases as the episode number increases. In contrast, the amount of EXP given after replaying an episode decreases with each replay. Once an episode has been played ten times, that episode no longer gives anymore EXP.
